Supporting International Women's Day – a personal message from Wendi Young

As we mark International Women's Day, I am honored to recognize the remarkable contributions of women to our society and within our Triverity family. Today, we celebrate the achievements of women worldwide and reaffirm our dedication to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly in STEM fields where opportunities for young women are boundless.

The theme for this year's International Women's Day is "Inspiring Inclusion," a theme that resonates deeply with our core values at Triverity Laboratories. Inclusion is not merely a concept; it's a commitment to ensuring that every individual, regardless of gender, background, or identity, feels valued and empowered to contribute their unique talents and perspectives.

One area where our commitment to inclusion shines brightly is in our dedication to supporting girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). By nurturing their talents and providing equal opportunities, we not only enrich their lives but also enhance innovation and drive progress in our industry and beyond.

Recent statistics shed light on the imperative to champion women in leadership roles, especially in STEM. While it's encouraging that 10.4% of Fortune 500 companies now have female CEOs as of 2023, Grant Thornton's recent survey of 5,000 mid-market businesses globally reveals a concerning decline. The proportion of female CEOs dropped to 19% in 2024 from 28% in 2023. These figures emphasize the ongoing challenges women encounter in breaking through the glass ceiling.

At Triverity Laboratories, we are committed to challenging these statistics and fostering an environment where all individuals, regardless of gender, can thrive and lead. We recognize the inherent value of diverse perspectives in driving innovation, problem-solving, and decision-making. By championing gender equality and empowering women in STEM, we pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future for our organization and society as a whole.

On this International Women's Day, I encourage each of you to reflect on the role you can play in championing inclusion and supporting women in STEM. Whether it's mentoring a young woman interested in pursuing a career in science or advocating for policies that promote gender diversity in the workplace, each action, no matter how small, contributes to creating a more inclusive and equitable future.

Together, let us continue to inspire inclusion, empower girls in STEM, and work towards a world where every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Thank you for your dedication and commitment to our shared values

Yours sincerely,

Wendi Young

President
